This comprehensive one-day course is designed to equip aesthetic providers with a strong foundation in the safe and effective use of dermal fillers. Whether you are new to injectables or looking to refine your approach, this course offers practical, protocol-driven instruction grounded in clinical excellence.
The day begins with a 90-minute didactic session covering:
- Indications for dermal fillers
- Filler rheology – understanding the composition and properties of various products
- Injection technique & best practices
- Standardized lip and cheek assessment & treatment protocols developed by Dr. Kelsey
Following the lecture, participants will transition to a guided, hands-on portion where they will:
- Observe live injections
- Perform injections under direct supervision
- Practice standardized before-and-after photography techniques
- Learn proper treatment cadence and scheduling
Patient safety is a critical part of this course. We will review:
- Risk profiles, safety considerations, and emergency preparedness
- Protocols for managing adverse events, including vascular compromise
- You’ll receive Dr. Kelsey’s crash cart checklist and emergency response protocol to implement immediately in your practice
Participants will leave with actionable tools, clinical confidence, and a standardized framework to support safe, consistent, and high-quality dermal filler treatments.

Hands-on tickets are limited and prioritized for licensed providers (RN, NP, PA, MD, DO, DDS) able to provide proof of credentialing and malpractice coverage. You must be licensed in the state of Michigan to take part in the hands-on portion.
